This exhibition will celebrate from 10 to 13 October in the Ethiopian capital and the largest city, Addis Abeba. Addis Power is the only exhibition exclusively on power, energy and lighting, which will be held in Ethiopia.
Energy is one of the most significant sectors for Ethiopia’s economic growth and development. The GTP II targets an increase in power generation capacity from its current 2,300MW to over 17,000MW by 2020.
Ethiopia possesses significant renewable energy potential, especially hydroelectric, and seeks to exploit these resources by increasing installed capacity of renewable energy sources. The GOE has recently issued tenders for several renewable energy projects with the tender evaluation process focused on quality and project experience.
GFM will show the ethiopian industry its innovative portable photovoltaic solutions, such as SUNINBOX, SUNINTRAILER or SUNINTROLLEY. These solutions are designed to adapt and evolve according to the energetic needs of the users. Among its uses, include social work, aimed at rural electrification, such as providing energy, health centers, refugee camps, schools or military camps.
